Ryton Holy Cross Lodge was consecrated on 30th September, 1921 by The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, Lord Ravensworth, and entered as number 4231 on the register of the United Grand Lodge of England. The Lodge meets at the Masonic Hall, Black House Lane, Ryton which is in the Masonic Province of Durham.The Lodge meets on the second Monday of the month with the exception of August and September.
We welcome visiting Masons and applications from Masons who wish to join the Lodge.We also welcome expressions of interest from those who wish to learn more about Freemasonry in general, or about Ryton Holy Cross Lodge in particular.

The essential qualification for admission is that you have a belief in a 'Supreme Being'. If you are interested in becoming a Freemason, we recommend you read the information produced by the United Grand Lodge of England. After this, we advise that you talk to a family member,friend or colleague whom you already know to be a member. They will be able to explain to you what they can about the fraternity and direct you to the management team of Ryton Holy Cross Lodge.
If you don't know a member, you may contact the management team of Ryton Holy Cross Lodge direct, either via contacting the Worshipful Master of Ryton Holy Cross Lodge or by doing so in writing, providing some background information about them self, and the reasons why they want to become a Freemason in general and a member of Ryton Holy Cross Lodge in particular.
